Membership Types
Who can join the CAFC?
Anyone involved in Fire – Rescue - EMS, or Disaster Preparedness can join the Caribbean Association of Fire Chiefs (CAFC). There are four (4) membership types—see which meets your qualifications best:
Regular Membership status is available to Fire Chiefs, Fire Commissioners,Fire Marshals, Chief Officers with 2-5 crossed trumpets. This category INCLUDES Division membership.
Departmental Membership/Country Subscription is open to departments that serve a population of 50,000 or less. The entire department can join for the price of an annual subscription fee. This category INCLUDES Division membership.
Associate Membership is available to company officers (Divisional Officer, Station Officer, Sub. Officer, Captains, Lieutenants and Sergeants), Paramedics, and anyone interested in the fire-rescue service. This category INCLUDES Division membership.
Affiliate Membership is available to industry providers including Vendors,Leading Fire Officer, Fire Officer, Firefighters, EMTs, and anyone interested in the Emergency Service. This is the most basic membership and does not provide division benefits.
Honorary Membership
*When you join the CAFC as a Regular, Departmental, or Associate member, you get TWO memberships for the price of one!
You'll receive basic membership in the CAFC AND membership in a Specialty/Regional Division. Division membership allows you to network at a more regional level with additional benefits. If you join as an Affiliate member, you receive only basic CAFC membership.
